This June and July, London’s Victoria Embankment Gardens and St. Matthew’s Church will host a series of unforgettable concerts—not by international stars, but by some of America’s most gifted high school musicians.

The Ambassadors of Music, now in its 51st year, is sending select ensembles from eight U.S. states to perform in the capital’s heart. Each group will offer two free performances: a band concert in the open air and a choral showcase within a historic church.

The tour kicks off June 8 with Oklahoma’s performances and continues through July 12, featuring students from Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Utah. Each musician was chosen for their talent and passion, and together they’ll treat London audiences to a repertoire spanning classical favorites and modern tunes.

More than just concerts, these events celebrate cultural exchange and youthful creativity—proving that music knows no borders and every note can bring communities together.
