F.F.O: Lana Del Rey, Sia, Troye Sivan

Kiey has strayed from his roots for inspiration for his latest electro-pop ballad ‘Piccadilly’. Based in the heart of Vietnam, channelling the place he spent three years in during his studies, this atmospheric, dream pop hit gives you the perfect introduction to who Kiey is as an artist, as he shares a glimpse away from home and into his lifestyle. During his time at King’s College in London, Kiey first started to produce in 2015, taking advantage of every opportunity to learn how to create his own music and make the most of the facilities and equipment that the university had to offer. He also thrives in the UK because of the opportunity for him to express himself through his music and create art that is important to him,  as Vietnam ‘s communist rule frowns on his kind of music and mostly platforms conventional bands. Kiey · Piccadilly Kiey is determined not to let his home restrictions get in the way, concentrating on following in his musical heroes’ footsteps, including Lana Del Rey and Troye Sivan, who evidently identify as his influences through his hazy, dream-pop style. ‘Piccadilly’ is taken from Kiey’s forthcoming album ‘Night to Myself,’ set to be released in early 2021, and aptly demonstrates the album’s range of electronic textures, leading the listener on a musical journey through London’s iconic and often daunting streets. By listening to ‘Piccadilly’ on the Soundcloud link above, you will get a taste at what’s coming. Don’t forget to give Kiey a social media follow up to keep in the know with what this unique breakout artist will carry out next. F.F.O: Stone Roses, Wolf Alice, Brian Jonestown Massacre

With a blend of neo-psych elements and a stew of skewed guitar, Suave Martyrs’ newest single release Man About Town gives the illusion of an orchestra of 15 despite the basic twin guitar reality – a band that offer innovative rock sound that we should all get to know. Lyrically telling a lurching tale of a night out in Bury, Man…
